What is Architectural Animation?
Architectural animation is a digital representation of an architectural design or space that is presented through a sequence of animated images or videos. It allows clients and stakeholders to visualize a project dynamically and engagingly, providing a realistic feel for the space or design. Architectural animations can be used to showcase a variety of features and details such as interior and exterior lighting, landscape design, material finishes, and furniture arrangements. It is a valuable tool for architects, developers, and real estate professionals to communicate their vision effectively and compellingly engage their audience.
What is needed to get an Architectural Animation?
to get a photo-realistic animation for your project we need several elements and processes to make the final animation look and feel realistic. we will take these processes one by one.
1-Make the 3D model
First, we require a detailed 3D model of the building or space that will be featured in the animation. This model should include accurate information about the layout, materials, textures, lighting, and other details that will be visible in the animation. and this is a very detailed and time-consuming process but no worries, Dvelviz will help you through all these processes and steps.
Programs we use:
-
- Revit
- 3DS max
- Blender
- After Effects
2-Applying material and lighting.
Once the model is ready, it is imported into a rendering software where the lighting, and materials, are adjusted to create the desired Look. this step is especially important for that it is this step that gives the model the soul and makes it a realistic representation of the design.
3-Preparing your storyboard
Next, we need a storyboard or concept for the animation. This will help us to understand the goals and objectives of the project and ensure that we are creating an animation that effectively communicates the desired message or vision.
4-Creating the Animation
Once we have the 3D model and storyboard, we can begin the process of creating the animation. This may involve adding movement to objects or camera angles, adjusting lighting and textures, and incorporating special effects or other visual elements to enhance the overall look and feel of the animation.
Throughout the process, we work closely with our clients to ensure that the animation meets their expectations and effectively communicates their vision. The result is a dynamic and engaging animation that brings your architectural designs to life.
5-Rendering and Editing the final Animation
this is the final step where you combine the movement of objects lights and camera into a sequence of rendered that can be used later and combined into a video animation depicting the final animation, after that any necessary adjustments are done to the video in the process called post-production then finally we have a realistic architectural animation ready to present.
